    • Shizuoka Station (静岡駅) to Hatanagi Dam (畑薙ダム). Reservation here.

Itinerary
I decided to do 2d1n hike. This is ideally done over 3d2n, if you have a car and start with the first shuttle to Sawarajima. In that case, I recommend staying at Akaishi-goya then Senmai-goya. 

Friday
  • 07:00am. Train to Shizuoka Station. 
  • 10:00am. Bus, Shizuoka Station to Hatanagi Dam (畑薙ダム). 
    • Bus stop is at North Exit, turn left, right in front of a ticket office (?). Flashing on the bus is 畑薙臨時駐車場
  • 01:20pm. ETA : Hatanagi Dam.
    • We ended up arriving at 12:30pm. There a bench at the shuttle stop, and a tent set up for people to submit their hiking plans (登山届). 
  • 02:10pm. Shuttle,  Hatanagi Dam (畑薙ダム) to Sawarajima Lodge (椹島ロッジ)
  • 03:20pm. ETA : Sawarajima Lodge (椹島ロッジ)
Saturday

Sunday
  • 01:00pm. Shuttle, Sawarajima Lodge (椹島ロッジ) to Hatanagi Dam (畑薙ダム) 
  • 02:10pm. ETA: Hatanagi Dam (畑薙ダム)
  • 02:30pm. Bus, Hatanagi Dam (畑薙ダム) to Shizuoka Station. 
  • 05:50pm. ETA: Shizuoka Station. Train to Tokyo.
