・About・

Logistics is hard. And a lot of the blogs reflect the good things about the travel and the curated pictures. I needed a place to have the actual itinerary, the actual expected expenses, and the not so good aspects of the travel too. At least the unfiltered ones. Hence, this blog.

This is years' worth of information, and thousands of other blogs scoured off the internet the past decade.

And that's what I'm trying to pass on.

Each person’s experience is unique, each adventure its own. My hope is for this blog to help you embark on your own adventure and see more of the world.

On a budget. 😉

PS: Currently on Japan now, so most of the posts are based on Japan. I've also realized that planning way in advance means $$$, and at one point realized just how much planning I've done for so many trips, and figured might as well pay it forward and write it down.

PS2: I initially called it thecheapadventures.com, but when I started writing some trips (ehem galapagos), it didn't feel cheap anymore so I changed it to lostfilipina. I was told it is too specific to me, but... well, it is what it is.
