  3. Hello Cecilia. Yesterday I did this Ota alps and found extremely tiring. Wanted to share some information when you do this.

    1. We have one 7-11 store between Hachioji alps and Ota alps when going to Mt. Kanayama. It helped me to refresh before proceeding to Kanayama.
    2. If someone feels very tired to stop this long hike, may be from this 7-11, there is a station close [ Jiroembashi station] it it around 3km. So can stop there also.

  4. Hello Cecilia, I did this hike yesterday and wanted to share some information which may help you and other blog readers.

    1. There is a 7-11 store after Hachioji alps and before starting of Mt. Kanayama. It is a good place to refresh as it is a long hike of almost 9 to 10 hours.
    2. If it is tiring to continue to Mt. Kanayama, there is a nearby station [ Jiroembashi station ] around 3km from 7-11 store.
