Bobotov Kuk

Named after the Bobot tribe that used to roam the mountain, Bobotov Kuk served as Montenegro's highest peak for 34 years until the fluid Balkan borders showed higher peaks from the Albania side.

Trailheads. No public transport available. Hitchhiking is also an option.

Sedlo. Google maps pin. A longer, more scenic, route. No public transport access/
Parkplats. Google maps pin. A shorter route, but provides a nice loop instead of going back to Sedlo. We had to hitchhike back to the car.

Can you do this solo? Yes. Just need to be able to drive to the trailhead + know the route you wanna take. Guides are NOT required. But you also will not hear about the rich background of Bosnia and have an in-depth understanding of the its history and fauna.
